Kimberly holds a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Adams State University in Alamosa, Colorado. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a psychotherapy that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of past trauma. Kimberly is part of our Equine Assisted Psychotherapy team and is certified by the Equine Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA). She has had first-hand experience of the natural healing power of horses and enjoys working with clients in an alternative environment to in-office therapy.
She also holds a doctorate in natural health, which she earned in 2013 and is board-certified by the American Naturopathic Certification Board as a Traditional Naturopath. Using a strength based, direct, and holistic approach she empowers clients to improve their overall well-being and seek healthier balance in their lives. Kimberly truly believes in working with her clients to help facilitate and drive change by using their solutions and self-awareness while incorporating and identifying their strengths.
